Message of Welcome

Dear Domers and ProLifers:

Welcome to this national website, organized of necessity because the illicit "honors" being offered by America's premier Catholic university represent such a spiritual and temporal outrage, and pose such a threat of national proportions to the cause of innocent life.

The battle over the illustrious University of Notre Dame to "reward" our nation's Abortionist in Chief with this year's Commencement is not about academic freedom, or Commencement Day manners, and it is not even just about America's most beloved, prestigious and popular (formerly) Catholic institution -- Notre Dame. With such power, influence and reputation as Notre Dame has long widely received from both Catholic laity and Protestant admirers, comes national responsibility -- and Notre Dame in honoring Mr. Obama has fatally punted.

As many we quote on this site have noted, the "honoring" of Obama is vulgar, raw political strategy and exploitation brought by Fr. Jenkins and Mr. Obama and his political staff, to ND's everlasting disrepute. The pro-life response to the scandal is mandatory, and cannot be too emphatic from any source that may be marshaled.

John Paul II in Evangelium Vitae, said:

"We are facing an enormous and dramatic clash between good and evil, death and life, the 'culture of death' and the 'culture of life.' We find ourselves not only 'faced with' but necessarily 'in the midst of' this conflict…"

We implore those visiting here who are real Catholics, real Domers, real ProLifers to face the truth. We are in a real war -- a life and death 'clash' -- with real victims: 50,000,000 slaughtered infants in the womb. The epic nature of this war, and its unspeakable toll in innocent blood, simply cannot be exaggerated. Abortion in America, and among Catholic and professing Christian families -- targeting especially American minorities -- is not just one sin or shame among many. It is mortal sin on a national, epic scale that is destroying the integrity of the Catholic Faith, falsifying the practice of Christian Charity, and undermining the principle of human equality upon which all justice and liberty rests.

What were you Domers taught of justice at the University of Our Lady, Mother of God? Where are you and the devoted "subway alumni" in this war? We exhort you not to settle for tut-tuttery, or being secular apologists for death. Many of you have enjoyed the benefits of a fine Catholic education at the sentimental-favorite Catholic school, arguably, in all the free world -- the famous home of the "Fighting Irish"!!

Help us find and mobilize the "fight" for the most defenseless and least among us, the innocent unborn! Join in these protests and demonstrations, send financial support to those resisting, mobilize to force the disobedient Fr. Jenkins's removal as University President. Do not let anyone from Our Lady's school assert for a moment that Obama's record promoting totally unrestricted and federally funded abortion on demand, now to override rights of conscience by medical providers (to specifically coerce Catholic hospitals, doctors, nurses and pharmacists) is anything but ideologically and aggressively pro-abortion.

There are many Domer fighters in Notre Dame's august history to call up for courage. Pro-life is the issue of justice and equality of our generation -- snarky nonsense circulating about single issue fanatics reveal how little orthodox Catholic education has been imparted at ND for some time. In this clash, if you think death of the innocent is just one more debatable political issue or moral difficulty that a little polite placard waving will assuage, all one can do is pray for you, and in all substantive matters, as our fellow activists observe, you are to be devoutly ignored.

We are seeking fighters in South Bend. Let us pray there are some among the ranks of visitors here willing to risk a bit of discomfort and disquietude in defense of the good.
